How It Works — and How We Vet

No mysteries. Here's exactly what happens when you ask us for an estimate, and exactly what we check before a contractor ever gets your project.

The three steps

1

You describe the project

Eight quick questions: the work, whether you want one best match or up to three bids, your timeline, your must-haves, how you're planning to pay, your ZIP, and where to text your estimate confirmation. About two minutes.

2

We call and book it

During business hours we aim to call within 15 minutes. We confirm the details, then schedule your free in-home estimate — ideally with both decision-makers home, because that's when projects actually move forward.

3

The contractor visits

Your matched contractor arrives at the booked time, measures, answers questions, and leaves you a written quote. You decide. There's no obligation and no pressure script.

Our vetting standard

Every contractor we match holds:

If a contractor's license lapses or their work generates repeated complaints, they stop receiving matches. Simple as that.

Your choice — and the 3-contractor cap

The big lead sites make money by selling the same phone number to many contractors at once — shared leads close at a fraction of the rate, and homeowners pay for it in weeks of sales calls. Our model puts you in charge of the number:

That's the whole business: fewer, better matches — and a phone that stops ringing.

Straight answers

Are you a contractor?

No. We're a free matching service. Your project is contracted and performed by an independent, licensed Nevada contractor — your agreement and your payment are with them, not us.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. Homeowners never pay us. Contractors pay us for booked appointments, which is why they're motivated to show up and quote fairly.

Should I pick one match, or three bids?

Both are smart — it depends on how you like to decide. Pick one and we weigh your answers and send the single best-matched contractor: least hassle, one visit, one written quote. Pick three and the three best-matched contractors bid for the job: more to compare, and more phone calls — but never more than three, and every one of them was picked against your criteria, not bought off a list. Either way, you can still get quotes on your own too (our researched roundup is a good place to start).

What happens to my information?

It goes to us, then only to the contractor or contractors you chose — one, or up to three — for the purpose of your project, and to no one else. We keep submission records (including your consent) as the law expects, and we honor any "stop" immediately.
